Description

Nous avons mis la main sur deux presses typographiques vintage en état de marche : la « Original Heidelberger Tiegel » motorisée (fabriquée en 1969 par Heidelberg Schnellpressen AG) et la « Boston Pedal Tiegel » à pédales (fabriquée en 1901 par Emil Kahle Maschinenfabrik). Nous avons enregistré ces deux machines d’impression uniques en stéréo à 192 kHz sous différents angles à l’aide de plusieurs microphones (Sennheiser MKH 8040 en configuration ORTF, Neumann TLM 103 en configuration ORTF, micro de contact stéréo Barcus Berry). Les 15 enregistrements durent en moyenne 4 minutes chacun et comprennent des phases de repos, de fonctionnement, d’arrêt, ainsi que différentes vitesses de fonctionnement.
